With an eye on the strategic major long-term project – the V-Cableway – and the development towards an integrated leisure and service company, the Jungfrau Railways are reorganising themselves. Following the opening of the V-Cableway, which is scheduled for 12 December 2020, the heads of the main departments will be represented on the Executive Board as of 1 January 2021.

The Jungfrau Railway Group can look back on a pleasing first half of 2019. The continuing high demand for the Jungfraujoch, the successful cross-marketing and the attractive winter sports range had a positive impact on the operating result. With operating income of CHF 106.7 million, growth of 6.5% was achieved year on year. In the first half of the year, 470,900 visitors travelled to the Jungfraujoch. That is 1.0% more than during the same period in the previous year.

The Jungfrau Railway Group recorded a profit of 47.8 million Swiss francs in 2018, the best result in its history. The Board of Directors has proposed to the AGM a dividend increase of 16.7 per cent. At today's financial press conference in Berne, statements will be made on the preceding financial year.

For the third time in its history, in 2018 Jungfrau Railways has attracted over a million visitors to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. At the same time, the number of guests was increased in the summer season at all Experience Mountains.

High demand from Asia, good slope conditions and consistently good weather had a positive effect on the operating results. The operating income was up 8.7% on the previous year to CHF 100.2 million. In the first half-year period, 466,300 visitors travelled to the Jungfraujoch. This is 0.4% more than during the same period the previous year and is the best ever result.

The Jungfrau Railway Group can look back on a strong financial year of 2017. It generated an operating income of 193.8 million Swiss francs. This represents an increase of 14.6 per cent on the previous year. At the same time, it is the highest turnover ever generated.

The Jungfrau Railway Group can look back on a strong financial year of 2017. It achieved a net transport income of 144 million francs. This means an increase of 14.1 per cent from the previous year and corresponds to the highest transport income generated to date. The positive result was attained from an increase in all segments.

For the second time in its history, Jungfrau Railways has attracted over a million visitors to the Top of Europe. At the same time, new highs were achieved in the summer season for all adventure mountains.

At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Jungfraubahn Holding AG on 14 May 2018, there will be a change in the Board of Directors. Current board member Bruno Hofweber will no longer be available for re-election.
