The four largest Bernese ski regions are already using the joint ski pass for the fourth winter season. This year, the first snow fell right on time at the beginning of December, all the way down to the lowlands. By the original end of advance sales, on 15 December 2020, 27,818 winter sports enthusiasts had bought a Top4 ski pass. The decrease compared to last season (42,198) is mainly explained by the uncertain situation with Covid-19. To accommodate this, the advance booking period will be extended.
The price increase from 666 to 777 Swiss francs may also have played a role in the purchase decision. The price increase had already been decided in December 2019, due to the investments of all participating ski areas in new facilities and increased quality.
Money back guarantee and protection concept
A Covid-19 money back guarantee applies to all holders of a Top4 skipass. In the event of a lockdown and the resulting closure of all Top 4 ski areas between 1 December 2020 and 5 April 2021, refunds will be made on a pro rata basis. Refunds will be made in cash.
The Top4 ski areas are following protection concepts for Covid-19, which can be found on the respective websites. In addition, since December 9, 2020, all enclosed means of transport (railway carriages, gondolas, cabins, etc.) may only be filled to two thirds. Masks are compulsory everywhere (i.e., when queuing, on all means of transport, etc.).
Sportpass with added value
Holders of the new sportpass can not only enjoy the slopes, but also receive a 33% discount on overnight stays from Sunday to Thursday in selected hotels at the four destinations, plus Interlaken and Kandersteg. More information is available at www.top4.ski and www.top4.ski/hotelrabatt
