From Bernese dialect rock and the Brazilian inspired sounds of soul to distinctive pop and rock songs, the 21st SnowpenAir on Kleine Scheidegg offers a varied line-up with national stars and an international singer-songwriter who has won multiple awards. After her break from recording new music, Amy Macdonald returned this year. On Saturday, 7 April 2018, she will present her latest album "Under Stars" on Kleine Scheidegg. The young Scotswoman writes all of her songs herself.
With the appearance of Marc Trauffer at SnowpenAir 2018, fans will get their share of Bernese dialect rock. The songs of Brienz musician and producer of cult wooden cows combines traditional and modern elements like no one else. His album "Alpentainer" went platinum in 2014.
Countless top spots in the Swiss charts and a strong soul voice make the Brazilian-Swiss musician Marc Sway unmistakeable. After a detour onto TV as a coach on "The Voice Of Switzerland" and appearances in his second home of Brazil, he is now back in the studio to work on his new album. He will put the SnowpenAir audience into a dancing mood with high class entertainment and South American charm.
The native rapper, Julian, is the opening act for the concert with the backdrop of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Known by many as MC JULI, Julian is delighting his followers with a change of name and his new dialect rap album "Verrisse".
Skiing and first after party
For the first time, SnowpenAir features an after party. Daniel Kandlbauer has been booked as the star guest. The musician from Grindelwald came second in the second series of the Swiss casting show, Music Star. He has made himself known in the Swiss music scene as a rock musician since then. He also played the main role of Daneli in the Swiss musical Ewigi Liebi from 2009 to 2011. The special concert with Kandlbauer starts at 5 PM on a separate stage on the SnowpenAir site. Then DJ Marlo from Panama will guarantee a party atmosphere.
SnowpenAir takes place next year for the 21st time. The arena is able to accommodate 8,500 attendees per day. Advance booking begins tomorrow, Monday, 2 October 2017. Tickets are available from www.snowpenair.ch, ticketcorner.ch and at all Jungfrau Railways stations.
On presentation of a combo ticket (concert and station) or VIP tickets, you receive a 1-day Jungfrau Sportspass at all Jungfrau Railways stations. This is valid on the concert day and is not transferable.
