The mixture of Bernese dialect rock, Brazilian-flavoured soul and haunting pop-rock has seen great demand. Since the start of advance booking in October 2017, 9,500 SnowpenAir fans have bought a ticket for the highest open air concert in the snow on the Kleine Scheidegg. As of today, Thursday, 29 March 2018, no more tickets are available. All sales channels have been closed.
The SnowpenAir managers will stick to their proven concept this year with an international main act and local stars. Award-winning singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald returns to the SnowpenAir stage for the second time in eight years. Successful Swiss musicians Mark Trauffer and Marc Sway are nationwide crowd pullers. As a prelude, rapper Julian is back as a local artist with a chance to present his talent to an international audience.
For the first time, SnowpenAir features an after party. Daniel Kandlbauer has been booked as the star guest. The musician from Grindelwald came second in the second series of the Swiss casting show, Music Star.
