Mürren snowshoe trail

As soon as you reach the last houses of the village, wild Mürren begins: With snow shoes on your feet, the winter forests and alpine pastures can be experienced differently on remote paths. It is hard to get lost here: The 3.6 kilometre long snowshoe trail from Mürren to the Allmiboden and back is very well signposted. It starts behind the station of the Mürren station, where you follow the path through the snow-capped forest towards Mittelberg. In a small clearing, the path climbs up to the Chänelegg, where sheltered moorland hides under the cover of snow. Along the edge of the forest, the path leads straight to the Allmiboden and finally back to the village and civilization.
